There are certain things I always do when in Staithes. Early morning dog walk on the beach with as much of my pyjamas as I think I can get away with, epic afternoon tea at Dotty’s, pints of Black Sheep @cod_and_lobster_official (the only place to drink it) and buying something frivolous in @betsyandbo My last purchase was Truffle White Balsamic, not sure how I ever survived without it. It goes on everything mushrooms 🍄 on toast, avocado 🥑, pasta, potatoes of many types the list goes on..........

The view from the bathroom, over the rooftops and straight out to sea. It was whilst partaking of the convenience within this room that my daughter spotted a huge pod of dolphins making their way down towards Whitby one morning. It is actually a view with a room. 🐬 🌊 🛁 .

Spring has most definitely sprung in Staithes. One of the things I LOVE about Staithes is the total feeling of escape, in recent months I have escaped Brexit, Megxit and I can’t think of a better place to escape Corona............or self isolate 🌊🌊

This beautiful Victorian mirror was a lovely addition to the master bedroom. I found it in a little shop while poking about in Whitby.
It is perfect over the cast iron fire place that incidentally I bought off eBay and varied up to the house, with the help of the builder but I still nearly cried ❤️ 🌊 🚤 .
